The syllabus for each academic year of the PJC is based on Topics which include some chapters of the monumental classic under study – Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra.

Participation
Students are encouraged to participate in contact classes as there is no real substitute to learning directly from the guru. In addition to the lessons, some mantra initiations are also done during these classes which enable you to be a perfect Jyotiṣa Paṇḍita. Please note that students opting for certification will have to participate in the contact classes for one week (at least) in the third and fifth academic years i.e. PJC Year-3 and PJC Year-5 respectively.

Please arrange your hotel details directly with the hotel. Eric and I do not manage hotel reservations. I would recommend staying a few days after the contact class. There are potential tours of various ancient and modern holy sites to visit.
*As stated previously in the beginning of the year. PJC2 will finish in December 2024. Then there will be a registration for PJC3 in January. This will be the 2025 PJC3 Vishvanath contact class. Topics include detailed analysis of Sadbala strengths, Argala, Arudha and Upapada. If we are lucky, we will have the opportunity to receive a mantra from the copper plates (the reader is very old and we pray he remains with us long enough). On February 8th we will visit the Mahasamadhi shrine of Mahapurusha Achyutananda Das.
