PJC Year Five builds upon the foundations established in PJC Year Four, where we began by examining the celestial framework through which yogas manifest, beginning with the Nabhasa Yogas, which reveal the overall arrangement of planets in the sky. We then explored the Vividha Yogas, studying the principles governing planetary combinations and how their interactions produce different circumstances and experiences in an individual’s life. This led us to the yogas of poverty and prosperity, where we examined how financial resources determine one’s ability to experience and fulfill the possibilities indicated by other yogas in the horoscope.
PJC Year Five begins with the yogas associated with the Ātmakāraka, examining the nature of the soul and the circumstances it creates through the Kārakāṁśa. By first understanding the Ātmakāraka, we establish who is experiencing the results of the yogas before proceeding into the study of Rāja Yogas. We then examine the various forms of Rāja Yoga, their formation through planetary lordships, associations, and special ascendants, and the conditions that determine whether they produce authority, recognition, influence, and success. This naturally leads us to Rāja Sambandha Yogas, which distinguish between those who possess power themselves and those who gain influence through their relationships with powerful individuals.
If time permits, we will explore additional timing techniques before turning to the chapters on longevity (Āyurdaya), examining how long an individual may enjoy the results promised by the yogas in their horoscope. We then study Māraka, which builds upon the assessment of longevity to identify the planetary influences and periods associated with the end of life. Finally, we hope to receive teachings from Paramguru Sanjay Rath on Avasthā or another advanced topic of his choosing.
With the completion of these subjects, PJC Year Five brings us to the conclusion of the first half of the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, completing an important stage in our systematic study of Maharṣi Parāśara’s teachings.

I would highly recommend paying a larger amount (eg 60%) if you incur a high cost for each transaction when paying internationally. This way all your advance payment is made and you only have to pay the balance 40% when you reach the hotel.

For those wanting to share a room please put your name in the comments so others can locate you. Best to also mention if you are looking for double/triple sharing.
