Graha Yuddha Lecture (2020)

This lecture introduces graha yuddha (planetary war) by explaining how conflict arises when planets share the same space—rāśi, nakṣatra, or degree—and how increasing proximity transforms cooperation (yoga) into confrontation (yuddha). Using the chart of Lord Krishna and the Mahābhārata war, it shows how planetary conflicts manifest not only symbolically but also geographically, linking celestial degrees to earthly locations. The talk concludes by reframing graha yuddha as a source of higher resolution, illustrating how the Jupiter–Mercury encounter culminated in the Bhagavad Gītā, presented as the ultimate remedy to planetary conflict.
