2. In the Vividha Yoga section of Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Gajakeśarī Yoga is formed when Jupiter is placed in a kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th) from the Moon. Parāśara states that this association grants intelligence, reputation, prosperity, authority, and stability, likening the native’s stature to that of an elephant among men. The yoga gives strong results when both Jupiter and the Moon are well-placed, unafflicted, and supported by daśā, otherwise its effects are reduced or delayed.
